Hello, I am selling my dads bike. He won this bike in a contest back in the early 90s. He never rode the bike, he just admired his prize and kept it in his office for years. Now here we are, in 2020 and he asked me to sell it online for him. My dad is in his 70s now and he won’t be riding a bicycle any time soon. It’s just been collecting dust. I did put air in the tires before taking this picture. The original inner tubes still seem to be good! I don’t know a lot about bikes, but I do know that this specialized bike typically sells for over $400+ even in a used condition like this. Sorry, I don’t have the dimensions/size/gears but I’ll try to take any extra pictures upon request. This is a Vintage 90s Specialized Rockhopper Sport Mens Bike. Condition is “Used”. Local pickup ONLY. Please be located in the Northern California area. Here is more information online about this bike series: The Specialized Rockhopper FS is a mountain bike with a chromoly and steel Ritchey Nitanium / Direct Drive / SBC DirectDrive Light frame. The frame comes in colors like black, Red and Team Red. Originally released in 1993, there are 7 versions of this bike. Due to the frame materials, we estimate that this bike weighs around 30 pounds. The Rockhopper FS has fork suspension. Components The Rockhopper FS comes with Mountain Mix and Shimano components, including an aluminum, chromoly, tig-welded, Specialized SBC stem, a steel, threadless, sealed, Specialized Headfirst Sport, Tange Ritchey Logic headset and grip-shift, Shimano, SRT-400, SRT-400i Optical Gear Display shifters. The Rock Shox, Future Shock SE USA, SR DuoTrack and RST 381 fork has a true suspension.
