1996 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp M2 20.5” Rockshox Judy Dual Crown. Condition is “Seller refurbished”. Fun retro Stumpjumper M2 build. Double single speed with XTR m980 crank shifter and front derailleur. Gearing is either 38x18t (high gear), 24x18t (low gear). This set up is a blast! Ride pavement in the high gear to your favorite trail, and shift it to the low for when you hit the dirt! Lots of fun parts! XT hubs with rhinolite XL rims, xt brakes, soma dream riser handlebar, answer atac stem, navy chris king headset, breezer xl hiterite dropper. Deity grips, special edition panaracer gravel kings in mustard yellow, And the fork! The fork is a rockshox Judy xlc hydracoil fork that has now been used once since I pulled it out of it’s box. I sourced some newer Sid lowers that had excellent condition bushings, and a bigger, stiffer arch and combined the two to make the greatest little dual crown XC fork ever! Freshly overhauled with spectro gold 7.5wt fork oil and new enduro seal wipers. This fork feels plush, has no scratches on the stanchions and is a fun, reliable tribute to a quirky fork of mtb’s funnest years. Topped the lowers off with rockshox Judy Salolom decals, just for fun:) All in all, this bike is a blast to ride! It has lots of new and newer parts, but has a fun retro feel. Lots of fun stickers on it too! It gets lots of attention on the trails, but all in all was built to actually be a fun and playful bike to ride anywhere. The bike isn’t perfect, it does have chips in the paint, but most of the parts are new! Bike is sold as is since the frame is from 1996, but it is a solid ride:)
