You are looking at a custom built Specialized S-works Demo 8 Carbon downhill & freeride mountain bike. It is a XL (Extra Long) sized frame, retails for over $10000 as equipped, and only weighs 34.6 pounds as pictured. The frame is made from FACT 11m carbon fiber with S3 geometry, 135mm rear axle, and a 1.5″ head tube. The rear shock is a Custom Ohlins TTX22M with adjustable spring preload and tunable compression (low and high speed) & rebound damping. It provides 200mm or 7.87″ of drop eating travel. The fork is a BOS Idylle Rare Air FCV with adjustable rebound, hi and low speed compression, and adjustable air spring preload. This fork is the best DH fork I have ever owned and has been serviced regularly). The headset is a sealed bearing FSA Orbit Z 1.5″-1 1/8″ reducer unit. This frame is super strong, super smooth, and pedals very well. The cockpit consists of a Race Face SixC carbon fiber riser bar, new SBC Sip Grip lock-on grips, a Race Face Atlas Direct Mount stem, an SBC Toupe Expert 130mm saddle with hollow titanium rails (one of the rails is very slightly bent), and a 2-bolt Thomson Elite seatpost. The drive train consists of a SRAM XO1 DH 7 speed rear derailleur, a SRAM XO1 DH Trigger shifter, a Race Face Six6 carbon crankset with BB30 bottom bracket and Enduro Zero ceramic bearings, a SRAM X01 DH XG-795 7 speed cassette (10-24 tooth), and a SRAM PC-XX1 chain. The 34 tooth Race Face DM chainring is held in place by an MRP G3 carbon chain guide. The wheels are Stan’s No Tubes with Flow EX alloy rims laced to sealed bearing 3.30 HD hubs. The rear wheel has all new Sapim spokes and nipples. The front tire is an SBC Butcher Grid 2.6” and the rear is an SBC Butcher Grid 2.3” (the rear tire only has a couple rides on it). A set of Flat Tire Defender inserts are installed. The brakes are Formula RO downhill units with floating 203mm rotors. The pads are fresh and the rear rotor has very few miles on it. I will include a brand new set of Deity alloy pedals (Black Kats or Bladerunners – your choice) if the “Buy It Now” option is used. This bike is super fast and very fun to ride. It is also very comfortable due to the 7.87″ of travel and great geometry. Great for anything from Sunday at the DH races to fun freeride shuttle runs with your friends. This bike is in excellent condition has only has 30-40 days of riding on it (I have had this bike on display since the fall of 2018). Everything is working very well and this bike is ready to hit the trail! The bike was completely serviced and tuned before being put on display. The fork was overhauled, the rear wheel re-built with all new spokes and nipples, all the of the bearings were serviced as needed, the brakes bled, and a complete cleaning was done. It does have some of the small scuffs, nicks, and scratches (the non-drive side crank arm is really the only item with noticeable cosmetic damage) that come with normal DH riding and transport.
