My wife gave this to me as a birthday present in 2000. Sadly, due to a back problem I rode it once or twice and it’s been sitting ever since. It’s been well protected, so there’s no rust. No accidents or serious damage anywhere, literally just a couple of nicks, the most notable are some small nicks on top of the handlebars. I changed out the seat post for a Rock Shox shock-absorbing post, and added a Specialized frame-mounted pump (note presta valves). The pump still works great! Cables and chain have been lubed and it rides great. This is probably the closest thing to new that you will find of this year and model. This is for local pickup only.
