You are looking at an upgraded 2014 Specialized Epic Expert Carbon World Cup 29er mountain bike. This $7000 bike is a Large with a 24.33″ toptube and weighs 25.1 pounds as pictured! The frame is brand new and has not been ridden! It is made from FACT 10m carbon fiber with World Cup Geometry, an oversized 1.5″ lower headset bearing, and FACT carbon World Cup mega-chainstays. The rear shock is a Fox/Specialized Mini-Brain Remote with AUTOSAG, Brain Fade Adjust, and provides 95mm of travel. This shock just had a complete damper and air can service from Risse Racing. The fork is a custom Rock Shox SID 29 with a BRAIN damper. It provides 95mm of air sprung travel, rebound, and adjustable Brain Fade lock-out. The headset is an FSA unit with stainless steel sealed bearings (1 1/8″ top and 1.5″ lower). This frame is super light and super smooth. It has very precise steering and a stiff drive train with a smoothness provided by the carbon construction. The cockpit consists of an upgrade S-works Carbon Riser bar, BC Sip grips, an upgraded Syntace F109 stem, a Phenom Comp 143mm saddle with hollow chromoly rails, and SBC 2014 butted alloy single-bolt seatpost. The drive train consists of a SRAM X01 rear derailleur, a SRAM X01 Trigger shifter, a custom SRAM S-2200 carbon crankset (same carbon arms as the XO crankset) with a 32 tooth SRAM Narrow Wide chain ring and PF30 bottom bracket, a SRAM X01 cassette (10-42 tooth), and an SRAM XX1 chain. The wheels are Roval Control Carbons with DT Swiss hubs with DT Swiss Super Comp butted spokes and alloy nipples. They are wrapped in 2.2” SBC The Captain Control tires (they are setup tubeless). The brakes are Magura MTSs with carbon bodies and alloy lever blades, a 180mm Storm SL rotor in the front, and a 160mm Storm SL rotor in the rear. The SBC SWAT Box, Zee water bottle cages, and SWAT Steerer Tube tool are all included. It is also very comfortable due to the vibration reducing design and great suspension. Awesome for anything from Sunday at the XC races to epic back country rides. This bike has been ridden sparingly and is in very good condition. You can see by the wear marks on the black SRAM cassette and see how few miles are on the drivetrain. The bike was just in the shop for a minor tune. drive train cleaning, and to have the rear shock completely serviced.
