This bike features both a Fox F100 RL front fork with 100mm travel, and a Fox rear shock with Specialized proprietary “Brain” inertia valve also 100mm travel, for better climbing ability, and is an excellent all-around cross country mountain bike as a result. Selling this for a friend, she bought this new and it has seen more road use than dirt with continental town and country tires. All other components appear to be original. Gearing appears to be in very good condition, sorry but it is not known if the driveline is entirely original or some pieces have been replaced, if so it would have been done at the Specialized dealer with factory parts. On the rack it shifts quickly through all gears, both wheels spin true, rotors are quiet and the hydraulic disk brakes stop quick but are slightly soft. Bike has some minor scuffs and scratches, more from garage storage than trail use. Nothing larger to mention. There are some scrapes such as tips of cranks and scuffs on frame tubes, handlebars etc. Message me for any other photos. Original chain stay guard is included but was removed for cleaning. Overall this bike is very clean and shows only occasional use. Bike has been mostly been in storage, I would suggest a complete service, lube and hydraulic brake bleed before riding. I have shipped a few bikes and have a factory bike box for this. Frame and forks will be well padded to protect from the front wheel and handlebars.
