Here’s a chance to own an awesome frame to build into your personal, custom, dream machine. It’s a 2017 Specialized Enduro in size Extra Large with Boost spacing and ready for 27.5 (650b) wheels. It comes with a nearly new Shimano bottom bracket, rear shock and axle, seat post binder, and the cables and brake hose already routed through the frame to make an easy, profanity-free build. The brake hose will work with SRAM Guide and Shimano XT brakes, and probably others that use the banjo bolt on the rear caliper. The frame is in great used condition with the only issue being several scratches in the paint. Check out the photos to see what you are getting – it’s not pristine but fully functional. The green on green paint looks stunning. If you blur your vision it looks like Kermit the frog tangled in pot plants. It’s maybe not a piece for the art museum, but it definitely attracts attention at the trailhead. It’s a kind of botanical, nature-lover, sensitive-new-age-guy color theme. The suspension pivots smoothly and the 170mm of travel opens up new horizons if you haven’t ridden one before. Slap a 170 or 180mm fork on it and beat any downhill into submission. This is worthy for either downhill racing or enduro racing (it’s named “Enduro” after all) or if you have rough trails, build it into a steamroller trail bike. The options are exciting! This one is a size Extra Large so you should be six feet tall or over – or maybe you’re a short guy with really long legs – whatever. But it is a big bike – and burly!! This thing is built to last, so if you’re in the habit of breaking bikes, this could be the one for you. I never crashed the bike or launched big airs or hucked the groms or anything like that. I’m old and used the bike as a trail bike here in Moab where the rough trails are appropriate for a machine like this. Porcupine Rim? – no worries. Whole Enchilada? – bring it! Any trail that has a modicum of downhill will submit to this baby. If you want to pick up the frame in Moab, it’s cash only.
