Up for sale is a 2011 S-Works Epic XC race bike, size large. The drivetrain has been upgraded to 1×11 with XX1 shifter, X01 derailleur, 10-42 cassette, X01 cranks w/ 30t direct-mount chainring. Handlebars have been replaced with Bontrager carbon riser bars, 720mm wide. Brakes are Shimano XTR with a 180mm rotor up front. Tires are Maxxis Ikons. As far as I can recall it’s otherwise stock. This has been an amazing race bike for me, but I simply haven’t had the time to train lately and the bike deserves to be ridden. It’s crossed the line at Leadville twice, done dozens of races in the PNW and even some short track duty. With that comes some scrapes and dings, and I’ve done my best to be honest about the condition in the photos. If you’d like more detail on anything, just ask. It received a complete overall three years ago that included suspension service and fresh pivot bearings and bottom bracket, the headset did not need replacing. Candidly, the shock will be due for service soon. The carbon Roval wheels spin true, the hubs are smooth and the shifting is crisp.
