Specialized Rockhopper SL Comp – 2010 – 19″ In this listing we’ve got a tidy one owner Rockhopper. You were hard pressed to find a nicer riding frame a decade ago than the SL. This bike is very original to the initial date of purchase as it was bought with the X-5 swapped on rather than the Deore shifter and rear Derailleur. Note: The original spec derailleur had a longer cage than the Sram part. This setup CANNOT be used in the 3-1 combination. If a newer chain is installed to length, the upper jockey will foul on the cassette. Meaning, if you wish to continue to rock the SRAM parts, you’ll need to either put on a tighter ratio cassette, enlarge the climbing gear or reduce the top gear.
