1997 Specialized StumpJumper Comp M2, 17”, XT/XTR. Used. Ships via best available method. Every bike lover should own a StumpJumper before they die. They were one of the first serially-produced high-quality mountain bikes ever, and you can still buy a new one today. This particular bike is from 1997, is made of Specialied’s proprietary M2 alloy, and sports many upgrades over the stock bike. While the frame, RockShox Judy XC fork, Ritchey 30.9mm seatpost, and AheadSet are original, all the other parts have been upgraded or updated. The 90mm stem and mild riser ‘bar are a more modern fit, while all the rest of the components have been upgraded one or two levels to Shimano XT and XTR. Hubs, brake levers, shifters, chain, and front derailleur are XT M75x items. The crankset, bottom bracket, rear derailleur, cassette, and V-brake calipers are XTR M95x pieces. The saddle is a Selle Italia Flite GEL with titanium rails. Rims are Mavic 222s laced to the XT hubs with butted spikes and alloy nipples. A nice example of a fun bike from mountain biking’s simpler era. Payments processed via Ebay Managed Payments. Ships only to verified addresses. Signature confirmation required. CONUS only. Int’l delivery via eBay’s Global Shipping Program. Items returned as undeliverable to a PayPal-verified address will incur a 20% restocking/PITA charge. Complete bikes will be partially disassembled for shipping. Unless you are an experienced bike mechanic, we strongly recommend you take your new (boxed) bike to a bicycle shop for assembly and final adjustment.
