Hi This is a wonderful Vintage Stumpjumper that is completely original and in great shape. Ser # M3H61769. Everything works wonderfully. Wheels are true, gears shift perfectly, and the brakes are great. It belongs to my college roommate who bought it new in 1983 and has asked me to sell it for him. It was purchased at St Helena Cyclery in St Helena CA. See the nice shop sticker in the pictures. St Helena Cyclery was founded and owned by my good friend Mike Clark back in the day. Mike was a race car mechanic in a former life and a really good mechanic. So when I got the bike and did a clean and adjust it was great to see how original it was. All the way to the custom Braided Stainless Steel rear Der cable that Mike used to build for the bikes he was assembling. I’ve been building bike frames for 47 years and appreciate a nice old steel bike! The bike is very original as you can see in the pictures. It’s all original from the Avocet touring saddle to the Bull Moose Handlebars and the foam grips, its all original. Even the tires are original. An extra set of Specialized Crossroad tires are included in the sale The bike was ridden and enjoyed and well taken care of for the last 37 years. It is 20″ frame (BB to top of seat lug) with a 31″ standover height and a 22″ top tube.
